Coming Soon: Contentverse 8.1

Big things are happening here at Computhink. We’ve added a boatload of new features to the new version of Contentverse (coming soon). More details will be available when we’re allowed, but we couldn’t resist spilling one of the most important updates.

(Please don’t tell our devs, they’re going to be so annoyed!)

The major and most exciting new addition is a convenient new front-end capture designed from the ground up to make getting content into our Contentverse document management software easier than ever. Using OCR zonal extraction, this feature will continue to help us do all those things you always hear about: increase productivity, lower costs, and maximize ROI. How, you might ask? Well, you will now be able to deliver anything you need for scanning, OCR, barcoding, forms recognition, document conversion (more on document conversion later, too), etc.

All of this jargon means that users can scan a document and rely on Contentverse’s front-end capture to extract information from various data fields in documents automatically. The feature will do the data organizing for you without human involvement, which makes processing quick, easy, and stress-free. I know, it all sounds too good to be true.

There are many more updates and behind-the-scenes changes that you will find out about later this month. Stay tuned!
